Hi I’m Thom, I just got done skiing the Atomic Vantage X 80 CTi. This is a classic front side ski for me. Definitely aimed at groomed snow, firm snow and where this ski really excels is just how quick it gets edge to edge for a ski of this width. Which makes it very, very easy to ski. So your intermediate to advanced level skier is going to be able to hop on this, tear up front side groomers without over working themselves. It is never going to be the hardest charging, fastest ski out there but for just a good, easy going all day ride it’s a great choice. But what is pretty unique about this ski for me is it is still really easy to skid and smear for those less technical turns where you’re really athletic beginner, maybe somebody with a little bit of an ice skating background, that is going to be able to find their edges quickly and really progress fast. So just a great all around for that cruiser skier.
