Snowboard Specs & Mount Styles : Snowboard Mount Styles: Riding Angles

Next I want to talk to you about the riding
angles and how you want to set them up inside the bindings. After you determine the way
that you ride by having a friend stand behind you and push on your shoulders, you want to
mount your angles based off of what foot you step forward with. In this case this board
is going to be set up for somebody who rides regular. Your right foot is in back, left
foot is in front and now what you are going to need to do is to take the center disc out
of the bindings and locate the arrows on either side. These arrows are key because you need
to insert them into the center of the binding and line them up based on the type of riding
that you want to do. The traditional way to mount in this position is to set the front
foot at 15 degrees and the back foot at 3 degrees. This is technically a forward position
but this is the standard for mounting them and once you have your indicators all lined
up you want to insert your hardware and mount.
