Signal Omni Snowboard 2011

Signal Omni Snowboard 2011

Hello. This is Matt Guf from The House Snowboard
Shop, and this is a Signal Omni Snowboard. It’s for the person that likes to hit the
parks and who likes to hit [all-mountain] features. Jibs–doesn’t matter. Big pow
slashes–doesn’t matter. This is for the rider that likes to do absolutely everything,
and riders are able to do that with the wavelength technology that Signal has designed. And between
the bindings, the Omni Snowboard will have camber. And then outside of the bindings,
the Omni Snowboard will have a little bit of rocker. The core material is 100% laminate
poplar from tip to tail with a standard profile. It has tri-axle fiberglass on the top of the
core and bi-axle fiber glass on the bottom of the core with carbon fiber stringers that
run pretty much tip to tail. The top screen, of course, is going to be silk screen with
a matte finish. The base as well is a silk screen material. Actually, nope, no, this
is die-cut. That is die-cut. I am a liar. That is a die-cut sintered base. It does have
a–let’s see here. Yep, it has a medium flex and its stance–this is where it gets
kind of tricky–the stance is a twin stance, but the shape is directional. So the stance
is sintered basically. The shape is directional–meaning that the nose shape is going to be a little
bit longer than the tail shape, but the stance is set up right in the middle. And the sidecut
radius is also a twin shape, so the radio sidecut meets right in the center of the board.
If you like doing everything, if you like hitting back-country booters, if you like
making pow slashes and riding groomers, and you like hitting parks and rails, this is
going to be a great option for you. This is the Signal Omni.
