Scuba Diving for Beginners : How Water Affects Scuba Diving Vision

Hi. I’m Cole with Expert Village, and I’m
going to talking about how your sight differs underwater than up here. When you’re underwater
you have the mask on, which somewhat restricts your vision such as you loose your peripheral
vision. Also you loose some up and down. Also the water has very refractive capabilities.
Such as what you see, maybe you see a nickel on the bottom or what you think is a quarter,
and it turns out to be a nickel and that?s because the water magnifies things roughly
by thirty-three percent. Everything looks larger underwater.
