Hi I’m Christelle Zanella. I come from Villard-de-Lans, a little village in the Vercors region. I have been an Oxygene ski instructor for 15 years and I’m lucky enough to teach two different disciplines. In the mornings I teach children to ski in the snow garden, and in the afternoons I teach cross-country skiing. The thing I love about teaching is the fun side with the kids. I mostly teach children between 3 and 6 years old. I base my teaching mainly around playing games, and having fun. Sometimes I rely on my ‘mummy’ instincts when I need to comfort the children if they cry, giving them hugs and reassuring them. I also teach cross-country skiing. I love being out in nature and the cardio workout you get with the 2 disciplines. I teach classic technique, where you ski in the tramlines and skating. What I love about being a ski instructor is the direct contact with people. I teach different people from one week to another and love the variety.
