How To: Outside Grip Cable EZ-Curls (LF Cable)


What’s going on Hermanation? I’m going to show you guys how to do outside grip cable EZ curls, okay first thing you’re going to need is a cable machine and then the EZ curl bar Okay? and what you’re going to do is grab the outside grip which is right here Okay? And then what you’re going to do is you’re going to pull the weight up and when doing it on the cable machine with the main differences and doing this with a bar is You want to lean back okay? Because the weights can kind of pull you forward so if you lean back It allows you to bring your elbows in front of your hips more which is going to keep your bicep engaged throughout the whole exercise Okay, and maintain a neutral spine you’re gonna keep your wrist straight Torso tight and you’re going to breathe out as you bring the bar up so bring it up quick slight bend in your knees Which is the top you can come down and notice I’m keeping my elbows in front of my hips on the way down Bring it up elbows in front of hips Bring it down Breathe out on the way up elbows in front of hips wrist straight neutral spine, bent knees And that’s how you do outside grip cable EZ curls for more great information feel free to subscribe to my channel and as always More good stuff coming soon.   1. @ScottHermanFitness does raisin ur elbows while doing workouts on your biceps like this on not work your bicep as much ? cause ive notcied that when i do it or sometimes when you do it you kinda raise ur elbows a bit?? but i dont no if this means im doin it wrong or is it ok ?

  4. The way I did it before watching this video earlier today,I ended up hurting my chest and back right in the center, but I didn't engage my back or chest when doing the curls. Anybody know what I could have possibly done wrong?
