Get Bigger Biceps Curling Correctly Like This (…& Get 19 inch arms like me!)


When doing barbell bicep curls like I’m doing
now in this video, you don’t want to use a wide grip, a medium grip, or
even a close grip. You need to find the best grip for you that’s going to
make your biceps work harder, which will make your biceps look better and
bigger. Right now, I’m going to show you how to find the best grip that you
can use when doing barbell bicep curls for bigger biceps. Okay, to get the best grip you need for bigger
biceps with doing barbell curls, first take your hands and rotate or
twist them around as far as you can like this so that your palms are facing
away from you. Now, notice real quick how my hands are not shoulder width
apart but a little bit wider than shoulder width, because as you rotate your
hands out as far as you did like I did, you’ll notice your arms will spread
out wider than shoulder width. After you rotated your hands out as far as
you can, you’re going to pick up the bar while keeping your arms at the exact
same position you had them in when you rotated your hands. After that, you
just simply curl the bar up and down, and you should feel it working your
biceps more without any pain at all in your forearms. So, notice how I’m
not necessarily using a wide or narrow grip. I’m just using the grip where
my hands landed after I fully turned my hands all the way around. Now, let me tell you why this works. Watch
how my bicep muscle contracts or moves every time I turn my hands up so my
palms are facing the ceiling. The reason why my biceps move like this is because
one of the functions of your bicep muscles is to supinate your forearm
or to rotate your hands like this. When you fully turn around your hand or fully
supinate your forearms so your palms are facing away from you before
you do any bicep curl exercise, then your biceps are going to do most of the
work in that bicep curl exercise giving you a better bicep workout
making your biceps get bigger faster. So, even if you are doing dumbbell
curls, you want your hands turned all the way around like this for a
better bicep workout. So, let’s go over this one more time for the
best way to do barbell curls for bigger biceps. First, take your hands
and rotate or twist them around as far as you can like this so that your palms
are facing away from you. Then after you rotate your hands out as far
as you can, you’re going to pick up the bar while keeping your arms at
the exact same position you had them in when you rotated your hands. After that, you just simply curl the bar up
and down and you should feel it working your biceps more without any pain
at all in your forearms.

  1. Is this effective If im only using 20lb dunbells. I can lift more than 20LB dumbells but thats all i have at the moment

  2. hahahaha i just tried it! AND WOW IT felt completely different from when i done it the regular way. I THINK 20lb dumbells are just fine. Will i still get 17 inch biceps using the 20lb dumbells or i need to increase my weight? Lol i was feeling it and i only did 8reps Once! LOL

  3. @CorbyFat555 I actually already have big biceps i just wanted to rip them, which they are now doing. Using more challenging Bi cep exercises with 20LB dumbells.
