Alright high end bindings are pretty much
any binding over 160, 170 dollars. You will see manufacturers like Burton, Nitro, K2.
There are a lot of different types of manufacturers, Drake, Union, high end bindings usually always
have metal ratchets which are definitely better than plastic because when it gets really cold
out your bindings will break no matter what you say and no matter which ones you buy.
You are going to look for pads on your bindings. It helps a lot when you land, really hard
off of jumps. You are going to want to look for a ramp pad which ramps your toes up off
your board so that you do not catch your toe edge. Aluminum is really good because it is
stiff, it is really light. Carbon fiber is really good because it is stiff and light.
As far as high backs go which are these right here, that is all a matter of preference.
These are really high and having them high helps your turn.
